NAGICO Insurance Company Ltd. was established on February 1st 1982 in Saint Maarten.
With an aptitude for exceptional service through business mindedness and comprehension of the clientele, NAGICO Insurance Co Ltd was able to grow from its Saint Maarten roots to expand and branch out into 21 territories including Dominica
In a remarkable show of corporate responsibility, NAGICO Insurance Company created a program in which students, handpicked by their respective schools, would be provided financial assistance towards their educational journey; this program was dubbed ‘The Community Mindedness Outreach Project`
This year, three participants were chosen: J’lon Naheem Casimir of the Saint Mary’s Academy (SMA), Josiah Pierre of the Arthur Waldron Seventh-Day Adventist Academy (AWSDAA) and Conroy Charles of the Dominica State College (DSC). The recipients were presented with their scholarships at the NAGICO Insurance building in Goodwill on October 1st by two representatives: Desiree Stedman, the Operation Supervisor of the Medical Department and Heather Reid, the General Manager of NAGICO Insurance Dominica. Also in attendance were the parents of Josiah Pierre and J’lon Naheem Casimir and Dionne Ralph, a Departmental Secretary of the Dominica State College.
Post presentation, the three recipients expressed their deepest gratitude towards the renowned institution for the ease of the financial burden during their educational tenure.
In accordance with their Mission Statement, NAGICO insurance continues to practice community mindedness with these programs; That is the NAGICO way!
