MONDIACULT 2022 – UNESCO World Conference

The UNESCO World Conference Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT 2022 will be hosted from 28 to 30 September 2022 by the Government of Mexico in Mexico City.

Over 100 of Ministers of Culture, and more than 150 inter-governmental organizations, UN system agencies, civil society organizations, are set to participate in this World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development, to consolidate progress and set clear new pathways for the future of cultural policies.

As UNESCO enters the last Decade of Action for the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, members States were  invited to embark jointly on a continuous reflection on cultural policies to tackle global challenges and outline immediate and future priorities.

The Conference will pave the way for the full integration of culture as a global public good in the post-2030 Agenda for an inclusive and sustainable development. During the Thematic Session Hon. Roselyn Paul presentation will focus on the topic “Culture for Sustainable Development”.

Dominica is being represented by:
