Miss MLajan Daina Graneau from Atkinson is Miss Mayfest 2023. Graneau swept the prizes on Saturday evening to capture the coveted North East pageant title.
Graneau captured the awards for Miss Photogenic, Miss Intelligent, Best Spectacular Wear and Best In Spectacular Wear, Best Swimwear and Best In Swimwear, Best Talent and Best In Evening Wear.
Graneau said that her win is not only for herself but also for her hardworking team and supporters. She enjoyed all the rounds and could not pick a favorite.
First Runner Up went to Rhea Massicott of Castle Bruce won the award for Best Evening Wear and was also voted Miss Amity by the other contestants. Second Runner Up went to Merida Cuffy of Marigot.
Miss Mayfest is put on every year as part of Mayfest activities by the Marigot Development Corporation and the Marigot Activities Committee
