Minister for Health, Hon. Irving McIntyre said that his ministry will continue an awareness campaign on the COVID-19 Virus from the Pre School level right up to the Secondary school level in the southern part of the island. He said that the campaign has already begun in the Northern and Western districts and has also touched various business entities and nursing homes in the capital such as the National Bank, Dominica Social Security, Customs and Fire and Ambulance Department.

Further, the minister assured the public that the awareness campaign will be combined with other major solutions when necessary to combat the COVID-19 virus.

The Minister made this comments at a National Emergency Planning Organization meeting on Wednesday held at the Office of Disaster Management.
