Media professionals were invited to the State House on Wednesday to be briefed by the President, His Excellency Charles Angelo Savarin, on the state of affairs leading up to the December 6 General Elections in Dominica.

The president encouraged media workers to continue to denounce all acts of violence before, during and after the elections and to push for peace throughout the process.

Media professionals described the meeting as useful and productive.
