The Dominica  Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) is looking into the cost of a pilot project aimed at introducing parking meters to address the issue of parking and traffic congestion in the capital city.

DAIC member and founder of Parbel, Parry Bellot says that there are a number of issues to consider including Government regulations, consultations with the traffic department and city council, the cost of introducing the meters and what coins or tokens would be used. He says that while doing research,  it was found that even credit cards are being used.
