Owner of Rendezvous Ms. Genai Stephens has created an experience to highlight talented Dominicans. In an event called Open Mic at Rendezvous, she aims to provide all performers (musicians, poets, singers, comedians, and storytellers) with a space to release new or current materials; present something they love; gain new followers; and make future connections.
Her inspiration came from a vacancy in the local market to encourage and celebrate local artists. She wants the unknown to be visible and those visible celebrated. Ms. Genai Stephens encourages the public and performers to attend Open Mic at Rendezvous beginning Wednesday, July 24th, and every other Wednesday.
It is a FREE event and it is open to all ages. To participate, one must simply show-up and sign up. Open Mic at Rendezvous will be exciting and filled with giveaways, thanks to the many sponsors who are supporting the venture. For more information contact 617-8416.
