The La Salette Global Association (LSGA), in collaboration with Pointe Michel Village Council and the Ray Asta Foundation, proudly unveils its 1st Annual Family Health and Wellness Day. This celebratory occasion is slated for April 28th, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Pointe Michel Playing Fields and Resource Centre.

Event Chair Dr. Rosetta West stated, “Under the resounding theme of “Thriving Together: Nurturing Health, Building Happiness,” LSGA, the Ray Asta Foundation, the Pt. Michel Village Council join hands to champion a holistic approach to community well-being”. With seven years of steadfast dedication to uplifting the community, LSGA extends a warm invitation to residents, partners, and stakeholders alike, to partake in this landmark event.

Dr. Rosetta J. West RN BSc (Hons) PGCE MA EdD SFHE, the visionary leader behind LSGA, speaks fervently of the collaborative effort, stating, “In partnering with the Ray Asta Foundation, we amplify our impact, drawing upon their expertise in health and wellness to enrich the fabric of our community.”

Aligned with this vision, the Family Health and Wellness Day beckons participants to engage in a myriad of enriching activities. From informative sessions on preventative health measures to

interactive workshops fostering self-empowerment, the event promises an immersive experience tailored to every member of the community.

Dr. West elaborates on the significance of the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with the Ray Asta Foundation embodies our shared commitment to holistic wellness, where expertise meets compassion to empower individuals and communities alike.”
