The Dominica Cancer Society has received a five-thousand-dollar donation from Kairi FM Group of Companies.
The donation was recently made to the Dominica Cancer Society, thanks to the annual Ultimate Carnival Last Lap-Malkasé event held by Kairi FM. The donation was made from the proceeds of this popular fundraiser, which was created four years ago. The fundraiser was inspired by Kairi FM CEO Frankie Bellot own successful battle with cancer and his desire to make a positive impact in the community. The event, held on the Saturday after Carnival, has become a beloved tradition in Dominica, and has raised significant funds to support the Dominica’s Cancer Society’s important work.
During a handing over ceremony, CEO of Kairi FM, Frankie Bellot, said “ No matter how we turn it, we need money to fight cancer. The prayers are good, and the family support is good, but the money is what matters. I was very fortunate, but if I didn’t have the resources to pay for it, I wouldn’t be here today.”
The president of the Cancer Society, Yvonne Alexander, expressed gratitude for this valuable contribution, which she says will go towards financial assistance for cancer patients.
Kairi FM Group of Companies remains committed to partnering with the Dominica Cancer Society to aid Dominicans’ fight against this dreaded disease.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
