The new members are: Keerah Ashford, Chad Bruney, Lavern Bruno, Dezarie Burnette, Shakel Charles, Abigail Christmas, Ricardo Cognet, Tatiana Corbette, Warren Edwards, Wakame Fabien, Kerisha Green, Anna-Lisa Hunter, Dr Dylan Hypolite, Bianca Jack, Jayren Joseph, Irnie Maximae, Kiara Marcel, Ketra Polydore, Shaniece Registe, and Alleyna Robin.
The induction marks the culmination of JCI Dominica’s 2025 Recruitment Orientation and Selection (ROS) Program, which provided mentorship and training across key areas such as Effective Communication, Public Speaking, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Budgeting, Mental Health and JCI Networking. Delivering the keynote address, Queen Thomas challenged inductees to lead with purpose and passion under the theme “Empowered to Transform, Inspired to Lead.” She encouraged them to see leadership not as a title, but as daily acts of service and vision.
National Executive Vice President of JCI West Indies, Senator Regina Bunbury, inspired members to embrace the four key areas of JCI: individual development, community impact, international collaboration, and business entrepreneurship. She emphasized that this is the start of a transformative journey.
Representing the JCI Senate of Dominica, ADC Commissioner Senator Meritta Hyacinth called on inductees to go beyond social events and immerse themselves in meaningful engagement through projects, trainings, and leadership roles, reminding them, “JCI isn’t just a place to belong—it’s a place to become.”
JCI Dominica President Phael Lander welcomed the new class with a call to action rooted in reflection and resilience. Sharing his personal story, he emphasized that leadership is about showing up, serving and inspiring, especially during challenges. “We don’t wait for permission. We create paths. We pursue excellence relentlessly,” he stated.
The 2025 Induction Ceremony was a powerful celebration of youth empowerment, leadership and service—hallmarks of JCI’s commitment to building better communities across Dominica and the world.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
