India Republic Day was celebrated on Sunday, January 26th, at Fort Shirley, Cabrits. This day is dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and appreciating the rights and freedoms enshrined in their constitution.
During the celebration, representatives expressed their gratitude for being selected by DGDC to execute a prestigious project aimed at advancing Dominica’s energy infrastructure. The project involves the design, supply, and installation of three new substations and overhead transmission lines. These components will safely and economically transmit power from Dominica’s new geothermal power station, along with existing hydroelectric power stations, to communities across the island.
The team shared their pride in contributing to this groundbreaking initiative, which will help propel Dominica toward sustainable energy development.
