The La Salette Global Association (LSGA) a United Kingdom Dominican based group unveiled a plaque with the names of the victims who perished in Pointe Mitchel during Hurricane Maria on September 18, 2017.

The Association was established in 2018 to further develop the community of Pointe Mitchel. The Parliamentary Representative, Denise Charles and Jerome Bardouille welcomed the idea and thank the association for this unique gesture.
