In recognition of World Immunization Week, observed during the last week of April, Fine Foods Inc. partnered with the Ministry of Health to support ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the importance of immunization across Dominica.
World Immunization Week highlights vaccines as a lifesaving tool and emphasizes their critical role in preventing diseases, particularly among young children. It also promotes the strengthening of health systems and the importance of public education in building trust and confidence in vaccination.
As part of this initiative, Fine Foods Inc., distributor of several leading brands in Dominica, made donations through its trusted Paddlers brand known for baby and adult care products including diapers, pull-ups, and wipes to four health centre locations within the Roseau Health District. The recipient facilities included the Mahaut, Massacre, Fond Cole, and Newtown Health Centers.
The donation was presented by Ms. Josie Polydore, Marketing Lead for the Paddlers brand. It comprised a range of children’s diapers (sizes 1–8), adult diapers, and the newly introduced Paddlers Pocket Wipes, which were made available to mothers and patients in need. Additionally, Paddlers Surface Cleaning Wipes were provided to support sanitation efforts and assist healthcare workers in maintaining clean and safe environments.
At the Fond Cole Health Centre, the products are available on a dedicated Paddlers rack, allowing easy access for patients who may be in need. This initiative reflects the Paddlers brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting care and hygiene to the community at every stage of life.
Through this effort, Fine Foods Inc. reaffirms its commitment to supporting families and communities by providing reliable hygiene solutions from infancy through adulthood. The company also extends sincere appreciation to all nurses across the healthcare system for the role they play in delivering quality care, educating patients, and strengthening community health.
Fine Foods Inc. remains committed to contributing to national health initiatives and supporting overall public health and well-being.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
