Fine Foods Inc. has donated relief supplies to the Kalinago emergency committee in support of families affected by the recent trough system that caused significant damage to homes, livelihoods, and communities within the Kalinago Territory.
The donation forms part of the company’s ongoing commitment to community support and disaster relief efforts across Dominica. Food supplies provided will assist impacted families as they work to recover and rebuild following this tragedy.
Antoine Liverpool, Marketing Manager of Fine Foods Inc., expressed solidarity with the affected residents and emphasized the importance of collective action during times like these.
“We recognize the challenges many families are currently facing after this tragic loss. As a company committed to supporting the people and communities of Dominica, we are honored to assist the Kalinago Emergency Committee in bringing a sense of hope back to those most affected,” he stated.
The donation was received by the President of the committee Mr. Vanty Auguiste who thanked Fine Foods Inc. for its timely assistance and partnership in supporting vulnerable families during the recovery process.
