Fine Foods Inc collaborates with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social services for Immunization week 2024 through its Paddlers Brand.

In observance of World Immunization week globally, Fine Foods Inc. collaborated with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services through its Paddlers line of baby products to donate diapers to health districts across the island.

This year’s campaign launched under the slogan “Engage now to protect the future #GetVax”, advocated for the collective efforts to save and improve countless lives from vaccine-preventable diseases. The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services held several activities during the week including mop up campaign for children, Influenza Drive, vaccination for home bound clients, and school visits targeting the unvaccinated in Pre-K/K.

A donation of baby diapers ranging from newborn size 1 to toddlers’ size 6 were distributed to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital, Reginald Fitzroy Armour Hospital – Portsmouth and the health districts of Roseau, St Joseph, Grand Bay, Castle Bruce, and La Plaine to provide care packages to mothers of children being vaccinated and to less fortunate mothers in these communities.

“This donation not only fosters a greater relationship with the Ministry of Health but also allows Fine Foods Inc to give back to the communities we serve.” said Brand Manager, Mrs. Jemina Marie. She also added that “This year is the third year that Fine Foods Inc. and Paddlers are coming on board for Immunization week, and we would like to continue spreading the message of the importance of being immunized. We look forward to continuing this partnership in the years to come.”

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
