On Wednesday November 22, the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services hosted a farewell ceremony for the Fifth Batch of the Chinese Medical Team working in the health sector for the past year. Additionally, the Ministry welcomed the Sixth Batch of the Chinese Medical Team now engaged by the Ministry.
The doctors who will be leaving on Friday are Dr Song Fuhu, Anesthesiologist; Dr Liu Qiong, Ophthalmologist; Dr Xiang Qi, Urologist; and Dr Wang Xianbao, Cardiologist.
The team who will begin their stint are Dr Zhiqing Lu, Ophthalmologist; Dr Bingkin Li, Urologist; Dr XinXin Lioa, Anesthesiologist; and Dr Zhipeng Luo, Cardiologist.
Among those presents at the ceremony were the Hon Kent Edwards, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services Dr Laura Esprit, Permanent Secretary (Ag), Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services Ms Nancy Francis, Chief Executive Officer, Dominica China Friendship Hospital Mrs Terrilia Ravaliere, Principal Nursing Officer Mrs Nicole Laville, Director Engineering Services, Dominica China Friendship Hospital and Other staff of the DCFH and MoHWSS.
