Registrar at the High Court Ossie Walsh announced that Dominica is preparing for the sitting of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court on Monday, February 11, 2019. This will be the first sitting in the refurbished High Court since the passage of Hurricane Maria in 2017.

Mr. Walsh stated that efficiency in the Court system has been improved as the court now utilizes a case management to ascertain true readiness of cases. Appeal matters will be held at the High Court for the entire week of February 11.
