Dominican Women Cricketers Making Waves Regionally

The Dominican Women’s Cricket Team recently played a few matches in St.Lucia and finished in third place in the fifty overs.

The team played well and a few players earned spots on the Windward Island Volcanoes team.Pearl Etienne, former West Indies player and current Windward Island player was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the games.

She scored the most runs for the tournament and cemented her spot on the Windward Islands team. Gem Eloi also made it to the Windward team for the first time.

Ernisha Fountain, Jennifer Gasper and Alicia Burton were selected for the Under 19 team.Congratulations to the Dominican ladies.
