Dominican Songstar Shelly Graduates from Harvard University

Known to many as an artist, songwriter, and lead singer of Signal Band, with hits such as Ani Ba Yo Love, Local, On De House and more recently, On My Way (Side Life) – Shelly has pushed the envelope by graduating from Harvard University Graduate School of Design with a Master in Architecture degree on May 26, 2022.
Harvard University is one of the top universities in the United States and its design school ranks #1 amongst rigorous architecture programs internationally. When asked about balancing an active musical career while pursuing studies, Shelly said that Passion will move men beyond themselves.
The artiste has been balancing studies in architecture and his musical career for the past 9 years. He graduated Valedictorian at Morgan State University in 2017, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Environmental Design.
According to Shelly, “There is an exhaustive list of people I owe gratitude to in this moment but I would firstly give praises and thanks to the Supreme One above, my parents, family, friends, educators and the Government of Dominica. I’ve worked hard for this degree, but if I had to dedicate it to one person, it would be my father.”
