Dominica to hosts College Fair 2023 for studies in the USA and Canada

On Monday June 5, International Program Directors from seven universities in the USA, Canada, and The Caribbean, including Southeast Missouri State University, Northwest Missouri State University, State University of New York-Brockport, Western Illinois University, Eastern Illinois University, University of Guelph-Ontario Canada, and Saint George’s University School of Medicine, will be available for individual consultation and to offer opportunities for Dominicans to study at all levels.

Officials from the Agricultural Industrial and Development Bank, Dominica Social Security, National Bank of Dominica and the National Cooperative Credit Union will also be present to provide information on financing.

The Dominica College Fair will be held in two phases.  Phase one will be at the DSC on Monday June 5, from 10:00am to 11:30am.  The second phase, targeted to all other interested persons, will be at the Goodwill Parish Hall at 1:30pm to 5:30 pm.

This event is a collaboration among Lead Institute, Dominica State College, The Ministry of Education, and the various universities.   Dr. Randy Glean, Associate Vice President for Global Studies at Western Illinois University, is the lead coordinator and facilitator.

Attendees at the Dominica College Fair at both DSC and the Goodwill Parish Hall will be provided information on admissions, scholarships, graduate funding, admissions processes, and education/student loans.  Additionally, all students and interested parties will have the opportunity to meet one on one, explore online study options, admissions prospects, and loan processes, directly with the facilitators.

All programs at all degree levels are available for study once offered by the institutions.

The Ministry of Education and the Office of the Prime Minister are advising prospective students to avail themselves of this opportunity to help further its mission of one graduate per household.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
