Dominica SiFoCol Alumni Association Supports Operation Youth Quake with $10,000 In-Kind Donation

The Dominica SiFoCol Alumni Association proudly announces its donation of in-kind items valued at $10,000 to Operation Youth Quake – Beneficiary Organization of its 2nd Annual White Sunset Charity Event. This significant contribution, made possible by the generous support of our community, reaffirms our steadfast dedication to fostering positive change in Dominica.

The donation comprises essential items including a television, laptop, deep fridge, cleaning supplies, and food supplies, all aimed at bolstering the crucial work of Operation Youth Quake. As an association deeply rooted in community service and social responsibility, DSAA remains committed to leveraging the collective expertise, resources, and passion of our alumni network to address pressing social issues and uplift our communities.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of our charity event and enabled us to make this impactful donation,” said Mr. Keith Benjamin, 1st Vice President of DSAA.  “Together, through collaboration and compassion, we can create a brighter future for the youth of Dominica and foster a more inclusive and caring society for all.”

Operation Youth Quake’s mission to provide short-term residential care, life skills training, counseling, and recreation to children and young people in crisis resonates deeply with our own commitment to empowering individuals through education, mentorship, and community initiatives.

Abraham thanked the SiFoCol Association for their generous gift and made an appeal for others to come on board and offer their professional services to the organization .

In addition to the donation, DSAA Members Dr. Damien Dublin, Mr. Nicholas Bruno, and myself Mr. Keith Benjamin, engaged with the beneficiaries of Operation Youth Quake in a Career and Motivational Talk. This talk was aimed at inspiring beneficiaries to dream big and pursue their aspirations, despite any challenges they may face.
