The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services, in conjunction with the Pan American Health Organization, hosted the In Country Stakeholders Engagement for Dominica Health Systems Transformation to Achieve Universal Health.
The workshop, which took place on Thursday, February 16, brought together officials from the Ministry of Health and PAHO, as well as private sector and NGO representatives.
During the opening ceremony, Permanent Secretary Mrs Letitia Lestrade Wyke welcomed the group; PAHO/WHO Representative for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Dr Amalia Del Riego offered remarks; and Minister of Health, Wellness and Social Services, Hon Cassanni Laville presented the feature address.
