Sunday, 28th April 2019, all roads led to the East for the launching of the Dominica Labour Party’s candidate for the Morne Jaune/ Rivière Cyrique constituency, Ms. Gretta Roberts.

Ms. Roberts feels that her years as a principal and teacher has prepared her to represent her people well. She spoke about forming relationships, transforming lives and bringing about positive changes in her former profession and that the same will be involved if she becomes the next parliamentary representative. She is ready to do the work needed to be done for her people.

She listed areas such as housing, agriculture, tourism, and youth unemployment as areas that are in need of more work. Although the event had to be cut short because of rain, the crowd heard from Roberts before they dispersed and was very pleased with what she had to say. Presently, the Dominica Labour Party holds this constituency.
