DGS Valedictorian Credits God for Her Success

“I cannot go on without giving thanks and praise to Almighty God for circling me with the greatest people that are a part of my life- with my extremely supportive parents, my encouraging teachers and my best friends who were always there for me. I am truly grateful to You, God for choosing me as your follower and for guiding me in all my endeavors. My accomplishments thus far are because of your divine guidance and enlightenment.”

DGS 2019 Valedictorian, Michaela Warrington. She also took the awards for Principles of Account, English Language, Mathematics, Integrated science, French, Economics, Food and Nutrition, Health and Family Life Education and History. She was also awarded the Form Level Academic Excellence prize.

The salutatorian award went to Tarsha Tyson while Student of the Year was awarded to Cedony Bellot. The ceremony which was held at the Goodwill Parish Hall was celebrated under the theme, ‘Fireworks begin today. Each diploma a lighted match and you, a fuse’. The featured speaker was Ferdina Frampton. A total of 73 students graduated from the school.
