We announce the passing of Zena Nelson Charles, who was born in Antigua and Barbuda and resided in Dominica, the U.S. Virgin Islands, California, and Florida (Ft. Lauderdale and Kissimmee).
Sunrise: April 26, 1949
Sunset: December 18, 2025, with family by her side.
Zena was affectionately known as “Teacher Zena” in Petite Savanne. She was a proud member of the Registe/Henderson family of Pichelin, Dominica.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria “Aya” Registe Nelson; her father, Sewlyn Nelson; her husband, Peter Charles; and her nephew, Edward Registe.
She leaves to mourn:

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for January 24, 2026, and are being handled by Grissom Funeral Home, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
