The family of Sylvester Oscar Gittens better known as Sylvester Cox announces with great sorrow his passing on February, 4th 2022 in Roseau, Dominica. Sylvester was born on December 12th, 1930 in St. Michaels Barbados.
He left to mourn:
His brother Gregory Gittens in Australia,
Common-law wife Silma Thomas,
Seven children: Henderson Cox in St. Martin, Eroll Cox in England, Sheila Cox in Canada, Gregory Cox, Valarie Cox, Marvlyn Cox and Yvonne Mansouri in the United States.
Six grandchildren: Damian Fountain, Kimmy Popo, Natasha Cox, Amanda Cox, Junior Honore, Kimisha Honore, Michelle Cox and Aisha Henderson,
Niece: Sherry Gittens,
Caretaker: Monica.
Sylvester also left to mourn his Methodist family in Dominica and extended family in Barbados and England. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church in Roseau on Monday 21 of February, 2022. Viewing will be at 9:30 a.m followed by the service.
