Death Announcement of Robin Samuel Joseph also known as Joe, Mawto, Mawte or Old Police, age 78 of Calibishie

“A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest, it broke our hearts to see you go, God only takes the best.”

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Robin Samuel Joseph also known as Joe, Mawto, Mawte or Old Police, age 78 of Calibishie.  He was a former Corporal of the Dominica Police Force, a fisherman and a bus driver on the Calibishie to Roseau route. He departed this life on Friday October 11, 2024.

He leaves to mourn:

His wife: Catherine Joseph

2 daughters: Shanda Warrington in New York & Vida Joseph-Davis an employee at the Treasury Department

1 son: Glenford Joseph

2 sons in law: Vincent Warrington in New York & Rawlins Davis an employee at Domlec

3 granddaughters: Camesha Joseph (caretaker), Shanisha Warrington in New York & Meagan Anthony in Antigua

4 grandsons: Justin Warrington & Rawlins Jr Davis in New York, Jemmol Davis, & Jervonn Simmons in the UK

5 great-grandchildren: Nnkem & Rangel Jr in Dominica, Jermaine & Emiyah in Antigua & Blaire in New York

4 sisters: Josephine, Noelise & Nonita in Dominica, & Marie in the US

2 brothers: Dick in the UK & Adam

4 brothers in law: Bernard Marie, Jerome, Mitchel & Simon St.Ville

6 sisters in law: Molly in the UK, Maurina, Cecilia & Helena in Dominica, Marie & Evaline in the US

Special sons: Sylvester Carriere

Special daughters: Ernica Simon & Dilean Thomas Sanford

Special grandson: Cedric Warrington & Rangel Yankey

Special cousins: Meridith Celestine, Nazlin Benjamin, Kettey Anselm, Irene Celestine, Judith Peters
