It is with a profound sense of loss and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of POLLY
AGNES JNO BAPTISTE (known as Dapo, Ma Simon) of St. Joseph Dominica who resided in
Canada.
She died on June 12th 2025 at the McKenzie Hospital at the age of 102.
The loving mother of Addison (Manson), Sarah, Allixson (Jaie), Wellington (Sheppi), Theresa, and Stepson Jefferson Jno Baptiste.
She will be deeply missed by her 17 grandchildren and 12 great, grandchildren. Her Son in law
Mervin Bruno, and Daughters in Law Editha and Valna Jno Baptiste.
She will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews especially Glenda Lafond, Shelia
and Landis Mason, Valda and Annette Rossi and Wendy Eugine. Nephews, Emerson (Maccus)
Rossi. Elkin and Lee Mason. Many other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
Funeral service for the last Polly Agnes Jno Baptiste (Dapo, Ma Simon) will take place at the ,
Matthews Hall in St. Joseph on Friday July 4th at 3:00pm followed by internment at the St.
Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
