Death announcement of Ms OLAMAE EDWARDS of Jamaica, retired Justice of appeal who resided in Dominica 

We announce the death of Ms OLAMAE EDWARDS of Jamaica, retired Justice of appeal.  Born in Port Maria in the parish of St. Mary, Jamaica on March 16, 1947 to the late Herbert and Lucille Edwards.  She died on November 26, 2023 in Dominica.

She is survived by

Brother:  Norman Edwards and wife Doreen,

Sisters:  Claudienne Edwards and Rosa Edwards Sentino,

Nephews:  Keno Edwards and wife Natalie, Sean Sentino and wife Sherima,

Neices: Celine Sentino and Kibi Ann Edwards,

Grand nephews Jaden Whyte, Christopher Pirre, Logan Edwards, grand nieces Madison and Olivia Edwards.

Her gardener Mr John Stoddard, Her housekeeper and Caretaker Venelda Beautreau aka Vivi and Vivi’s partner Tony ‘Rebel” St.John. Her neighbours Phillip and Gina Alleyne, her long time contractor Mr Brown, her close friend and former colleague Ivenia Benjamin, her former colleagues and staff of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in St Lucia and other territories of the Eastern Caribbean, Ms Shirley and the staff and management of PHARCS who provided her with home care in the final two weeks of her life.The medical doctors and staff of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital as well as the numerous friends she made along the way in Dominica and in the islands and territories of the OECS, too numerous to mention.

A memorial service will be held for her on Friday January 19th at 3:00pm at the Truth and Grace Fellowship Global, Independence Street Roseau. The officiant is Pastor Randy Rodney.
