With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Tavernier of Wesley, better known as John or Hekheh. He was born on December 31st, 1957 and died on January 27th, 2026, at the age of 69.

He will surely be missed by his:

Brothers: Davidson Gordon, Joseph Tavernier, Romé Tavernier, David Bruno (Gerald, Ursbon, and Mastervill Tavernier – Deceased)

Sisters: Jane Tavernier in Antigua, Maria Tavernier, Magdaline Tavernier, Daniella Bruno (Janet and Geraline Tavernier – Deceased)

Many nieces and nephews including: Stevo, Magdalin, Gaby, Anita, Vernice, Joey, Joanah, Andra, Leroy, Jermel, Jarmel, Earlson, John, Shenna, Coco, Shaquan, Symbery, Andrew, Awch, Linford, Jerade, Erna, Verna, Connie, Natika, Quicey, Cemon, Marvlyn, Moline, Saline, Milinda, Joun, Fwaso, Elonique, Chris, Chudo, Jamela, Nick, Que, Brown, Zephlyn, Rita, Jack, Glenford, Desry, Kelvin, Braint, Uranus, Roy, Daniel, Dinnes, Annaklet, Paula, Danny, Daevon, Lovely, Janilia, John, Sonia, and Shantell.
