Death Announcement of Fortune Joseph better known as Paul Joseph of Calibishie who resided in Marigot

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of 62 years old Fortune Joseph better known as Paul Joseph of Calibishie who resided in Marigot. He died on the 14th of September 2024 at the Dominica  China Friendship Hospital.

He leaves to mourn::

Sons: Johnice Joseph in Atlanta and Jean-Charles Joseph in Dominica.

Daughters: Sophia Frederick in Dominica and Nella Peter Edom in France.

Brother: Renoldson Lewis, Peter Elizee, Ericson Graham in Dominica and Antoine Etienne in Marie-Galante

Sisters: Madeleine Dixit in Marie-Galante, Lucia Joseph in Dominica, Irish Graham Alexander in St Croix, Jane Dangleben, Jenny Bellot  and Edith Francois in Dominica.

Grand sons: Raheem and Rajiv Frederick , Thibault and Valentin Edom

Granddaughters: Radhika, Rhashonna, and Selena Frederick, Chardélise and Kaylani Joseph, Nellianne Edom

Sons-in-law: Jumadine Frederick in Dominica and Alexandre Edom in France.

Daughters-in-law: Tricia Joseph in Dominica  and Diane John-Baptiste Joseph in Atlanta

Nephews : Kurt and Kareem Alexander;  Phillipe, Octave  and Pascal Dixit; Gaël Jno Baptiste, Merrit Joseph, Loïc Arius ; Audrey and Albert Birhus ; Egbert and Albert St Hilaire ; Emond Dangleben and Kelan Christian 

Nieces: Samantha Bynoe, Agnes Joseph, Noana Socent, Sophie, Dr. Christelle and Estelle Dixit, Jill Lewis, Naïma Arius, Idlyn and Maudlyn St Hilaire, Kiana Alexander and Dr. Cheryl Dangleben.

Brother-in law: Floribert Dixit in Marie-Galante, Robert Alexander in St Croix and Charles Bellot in Dominica

Grand nephews and grand nieces too numerous to mention

Cousins including Vilma Royer better known as Sister May

Close friend: Dr. Samuel Christian

He will be missed by the Joseph family in Calibishie, the Dumas in Dublanc, the Esprit, his friends in Westley, Marigot, Warner and Calibishie. His neighbors in Marigot. 

The funeral service of the late Fortune Joseph will be held at the Wesley Adventist Church on Monday 22nd of September. Viewing is from 2:30 pm and funeral service from 3:00pm. Interment at the Wesley Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery.
