DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT OF CATHIE FELIXIA BURTON YORK OF CASTLE BRUCE & KALINAGO TERRITORY, WHO RESIDED IN LONDON

We Announce the Death of 56 year old Cathie Burton York, former Miss Dominica and teacher at the Convent High School. She died in London on December 1st, 2024.

She leaves to mourn

Mother: Augustina Dubique retired nurse

Father: Stewart Burton retired Assistant Superintendent of Police

Children: Keisha and Kesani York

Brothers: Larah and Jeremiah Roberts, Mervin, Donald, Dani and Warren Burton

Sisters: Corinne Vanputten, Cuty Burton-Thomas, and Ketra Ikezuagu

Uncles: Nesbit & Haig Dubique, Erran, McNeal and Steven Burton

 Aunts: Maricie Vigilante, Edris Wiltshire, Rose Andrew, Marie  St. Rose, Anthea Elwin, Martha Martin, Mildreth Barry, Melizia St. Aimee, Clarencia Sanford, Victoria and Antonia Edwards.

In Laws: Step mother Eulalie Burton, Agnes Dubique, Phillip Elwin, Patrick Martin, Lennox St. Aimee, Napoleon Sanford, Robert Thomas and Mbonu Ikezuagu.

The funeral Service takes place on

Saturday 18th, January, 2025 at the Castle Bruce Roman Catholic Church.

Funeral Service: 2:00 pm

Internment: at the Castle Bruce Roman Catholic Cemetery.
