It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Rev. Henry James, age 95, from Marigot Dominica who resided in Suwanee, Ga. He passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2023 surrounded by his children and family members.
HE WAS THE Wife OF: Ruth James who preceded him in death;
HE WAS THE FATHER OF: 5 Sons – Melvin (FL), Henrison (OH), Adelbert (GA), Orville (USVI) Duane (CA);
HE WAS THE FATHER OF: 4 Daughters – Anne Piper (SC), Meldora Beckwith (GA), Julia (NY), Priscilla (FL);
He WILL ALSO BE REMEMBERED BY: 9 – grandchildren and 7 – great-grandchildren;
Sister – Mathilda Harper (deceased);
Daughters- in-Law: Ardel, Rosilda, Lynna;
Sons-in-Law: Harold Piper II, Keith Beckwith;
Sisters-in-law: Alex Deschamps and Marvlyn Lewis;
Brother-in-law: Derrick Francis;
Nephews – Austin, Holland, Kelbert, Dale and Ronnie Harper;
Nieces: Mary Joseph, Glenda Tyson, Minetta Stevens, Vilna Henry;
He leaves to mourn members of the Harper, the Christian Union Church families and many other friends too numerous to mention;
Rev. Henry James celebration of life will be held on April 1, 2023 in Atlanta GA, and will be live-streamed via a link posted on the tribute wall of Crowell Brothers Funeral Home – Peachtree Corners & Buford.
