We sadly announce the going home of Mrs. Margareta Charles, also known as “ Miss Gitt” or ‘Tanty Gitt” aged 94 of Calibishie, who transitioned to the great beyond on Tuesday 6th April at the Dominica Infirmary.
She was the mother of Bernadine Thomas Wess in the US and Claude Warrington of Guadeloupe and their children.
Sister to Mrs. Sylvester Joseph and Sylvia Jacob and her brothers, Paul and Colie George of Calibishie.
Many nieces and nephews including her care taker/nephew Mr. Simeon Joseph, The Joseph ,George, Warrington, and Jacob families of Calibishie origin residing in Dominica, The USA, Antigua, The UK and Guadeloupe.
Her caretakers Nazlene ,and Monica.
Other friends and relatives including; Marilyn, Miss Jan, Claudette, Glenda, Wayne, Conroy, Michael, Junie, Jan, Valda, Kevin, Freddy, Rhona, Laura, Eulina- Anna, and Ezra,

Funeral Mass and Burial for Margarita Charles or “Tanty”,” Miss Gitt” of Calibishie will take place on Saturday 17th April at the Wesley Roman Catholic church.

Burial will be followed at the Wesley Catholic Cemetery.
