With profound sadness we announce the death of 93-year-old Modestine Laville David better known as Ma Pappy, of Coton Vieille Case, who died on October 20th, 2025 at the DCFH.
She is remembered by

Grandchildren: Nelisa, Ervice, Kimron, Cassiane, Adasha, Adela, Ashton, Taskia, Kevy, Cedella, Eddy J, Bathie, Madine

The body of the late Modestine David will be transported from Northeastern Funeral Home for viewing at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 15th at the Vieille Case Roman Catholic Church.
Funeral service begins at 2:00 pm followed by internment at the Vieille Case Roman Catholic Cemetery.
