Death Announcement of 91 year old Neslie Bernadette, Sylma Thomas  better known as Ma Sylma or Granny of Thibaud who resided on 31 Field’s Lane Roseau

A golden  heart has stop beating!

It is with heavy hearts,we announce the death of our beloved  Neslie, Bernadette, Sylma Thomas  better known as Ma Sylma or Granny,age 91 of Thibaud who resided on 31 Field’s Lane Roseau. She died on February 16th 2025 at her residence.

She was the mother of deceased Robinson Bontiff.

She will be remembered by her 5 Grand children: Stevenson & Jefferson in Roseau, kerwin in Jimmit, Jeanson and Belinda Bontiff in Grand Fond.

5 Great Grand children: Jodie and Mateo Bontiff,  Adriel  and Gavriel Lawrence and Khamiel Nicholas.

Adopted Son: Worrel  Thomas in USA

Adopted Grand daughter: Alma Jacob in Grand Fond

Caretaker: Marilyn Joseph

Brother Leonard Thomas in England.

Sister Clara Thomas in Dominica

Sister in law  Hilia Thomas  in Dominica and Susan Thomas in England

15 niece: Ramoncia in Dominica  ,Rosey, Merlin, Solange,  Kathleen, Paulie, Leonette  martina, Monique in USA, Luvena ,  Claudia ,  Ramonia in Guadeloupe , Yolanda  in St Martin  and Franscisca in Marie Galante.

7 Nephews including  Avan, Don, Edmond, Nicholls in Dominica,  Vanty, and Gregory  in USA and  Winston in Antigua.

 grand nieces and Nephew  including Ryan, Claire, Claudette in the USA,  Dervon, Curlon, and  Trey in Dominica.

Close family and  friends including the Thomas,  Bontiff and George family in Thibaud. The Morgan’s  in Grand  Fond. The Cox’s Family. Boutaho, Monica, Nyel, Marie, Princess,Frances,  Andre, Johnathan , Timmy  and many others.

The funeral of the late Neslie, Bernadette, Sylma Thomas will take place on Wednesday 12th March at the fair Haven Cathedral. Viewing begins at 2:30pm. Funeral service is at 3pm followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
