It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of 90-year-old Rhona E. Fingal of 1 Grants Lane, Goodwill, Dominica.
She was predeceased by her husband Algernon Fingal, her son Major Michael Fingal (US Air Force) and her brother Eric Blanchard.
She leaves to mourn:-
Children: Gemma Lawrence, John Fingal and Dr. Simone Fingal;
Son in law: Milton Lawrence
Granddaughters: Amanda and Elaina Lawrence & Jessica, Hanna and Elory Fingal
Grandsons: Aaron, Matthew, Jaden and Kaylan Fingal;
Sister: Inga Doctrove;
Brother: Peter Blanchard;
Nieces: Carla Wyke, Ann Burton, Gilda Alexander and Catherine Blanchard;
Nephews: Brian and Christopher Doctrove & Joshua and Nicholas Blanchard;
Sisters-in-law: Maudline Rock, Claron Robinson and Isaline Starks;
Brother-in-law: Clement Fingal;
Cousins, including: Zandra Phillips; Desmond, Ruby, Karen, Theresa and Ed Blanchard; Veda Bristol, Kathleen Bahadur and Cedric Osborne;
The extended Fingal, Blanchard, Giraud, Rossie and Doctrove families, including those of deceased Shirley Leger, Garner Fingal and Sylma Williams;
Neighbors of Grants Lane and Franklin Lane in Goodwill, the St. Alphonsus Catholic community and many other relatives and friends, including, but not limited to, Adwina Magloire, Jerry Brisbane, Charles Savarin, Betty Fingal and Jennifer Fadelle and their Families.
The funeral service of Rhona Fingal will be held at the St Alphonsus Catholic Church in Goodwill on Saturday February 24, 2024 at 10.00am followed by burial at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
