Updated: Death Announcement of 90 year old Mrs. Edmonde Lamothe George better known as Wone, Abon or Mommon of Cottage

We announce the death of 90 yr old Mrs. Edmonde Lamothe George, better known as Wone, Abon or Mommon of Cottage.

She died on Saturday, 2nd July 2022 at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

She Leaves to mourn:

Husband: Francis George
Children: Jacinta, John , Jacqueline, Judith
Sister: Elizabeth Perriera
Grand children: Josette, Samuel Jr, Jervan, Joeie, Jermain, Jodi, Jireh, Judi-Ann, Nicholas
and Richard.
Great-grands: eleven including Ladisha, Khalfani, Skylar
Caretaker: Maudeline Simon
Nieces: Numerous nieces including Fermina, Eudora, Sylvia, Juliana, Florian, Junie,
Virginia, Daphne, Myrtle, Geralda, Paulina, Monica.
Nephews: including Bruno, Bryant, George, Percy, Patrick, Glen, Romig,
Step children: Jacintha, Joan, Francess, Olivia, Veronica and Nicholas George.
Daughter in Law: Maureen Roberts,
Son-in-Law: Anthony Giraud
Grand daughter-in-Law: Kelshia Carrette Grand Nieces and nephews to include Dr
Douglas, Rosie, Jess, Glenda, Julie, Christma, Charlene, Karen, Julianne, Josiah, Mervin,
Donald and Charles
Several God-children, including Bruno, Eudora, Sylvia, Romus and Debra.

and Lamothe families of Clifton and Cottage. The Toucarie church choir, Dr’s Jeffrey and
Jacob, Nurses Honore, Andrew, FNP, Ward Sister and staff of RFA Hospital and Health
Center, Dr Lewis, Dr’s and staff of Glover ward, Father’s Elveau and Sharplis and
Cottage/Toucarie Community.
Funeral to to take place at the Portsmouth Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday July
23rd, viewing at 10 am, Funeral mass at 11: am and interment to be followed at the
Portsmouth Catholic cemetery.

Buses available for persons wanting to attend the funeral.
