Death Announcement of 89 year old Gertrude Moise Bellot better known as Mable or Ma Sampson of Soufriere

We announce the Death of 89 year old Gertrude Moise Bellot better known as Mable or Ma Sampson of Soufriere. She died on the 24th of October at her residence in Soufriere. She was the wife of late Sampson Bellot.

She will be remembered by her seven children:

Four boys: Howard Xavier, Marvelous Bellot, Steven Bellot and Simpson Bellot.

3 girls: Sandra Gregoire Victor, Marvlyn Bellot Jervier and Bertille Bellot Dangleben.

She will also be remembered by:

Her Seven step children in Grandbaby, Soufriere and Guadeloupe,

27 Grandchildren including, Nedison Bellot, 23 Great grand and 15 great great grand children,

2 sisters Phillips Angol and Philomen John,

2 Brothers: Valentine Moise and Glover Moise

8 Nephews and 11 Nieces

2 Sons-in-law: Francis Dangleben and David Jervier

1 Daughter-in-law: Onica Bellot

1 Brother-in-law: Tona Bellot

Caretakers: Sara, Maria, Bernicia and Sandra.

Relatives: The Moise, Bellot, Bedminister, Abraham and Dellsol Families.

Friends: Mr. Ian Pinard, Honorable Dennis Charles-Pemberton, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, The St. Vincent De Paul Society, the Catholic Community of Soufriere, Scotts Head, Gallion and Pointe Mitchel.

Other family and friends here and abroad too numerous to mention.

The body of the late Gertrude Moise Bellot, better known as Mable or Ma Sampson of Soufriere will be transported from the Gentle Rest Funeral Home for viewing at 12: o’clock at the Soufriere Catholic Church on Saturday 9th November, 2024. The funeral mass will be at 12:30 and interment will take place at the Soufriere Catholic Cemetery.
