Death Announcement of 88 year old Marie Amelia Etienne also known as ‘Aunty Marie and Ma Chicken’ of Scotts Head

We announce the death of Marie Amelia Etienne, nee Toussaint, also known as Aunty Marie and Ma Chicken, age 88 years of Scott’s Head. She died on Wednesday, 17th February at the DCFH.

She lives to mourn:
• Her Son: Wilston “Maestro” Etienne.
• Step-children: Cleve and Sharn Etienne.
• Five (5) Grandchildren:  Kizee, Lincia, Jelani, Sadiki and Jamal ETIENNE.
• One (1) Great-grandchild: Jayla Etienne.
• One (1) Brother: Rocque Toussaint.
• Sisters-in-Law: Hillarine John Baptiste and Lesha Toussaint.
• Brother-in-Law: Rupert Toussaint
• Nieces: Primrose Bellot; Joy, Gloria, Gretta, Selma, Lita and Annie Toussaint.
• Nephews:  Rommel and Ossie Toussaint; and Errol Tavernier.
• The Toussaint family of Point Mitchel, Etienne Family of Soufriere and Tavernier Family of Scotts Head.
• Many other relatives, friends and the communities of Scott’s Head, Soufriere and Gallion, names too numerous to mention.

The body of the late Mrs. Marie Etienne will be transported from the Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, 2nd March at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church in Soufriere.

Funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm followed by internment at the Soufriere Catholic Cemetery.
