It is with great sadness that we announce the death of 87 year old Bernard Joseph John Baptiste of Laudat, better known as JB who resided in Hinesville Georgia. He died on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
He was a retired Forest Ranger in Dominica and later an operator at M@M Mars in Chicago.
HE LIVES TO MOURN:
BELOVED WIFE: Betty John Baptiste
13 Children: Pamela, Bernard Jr, Annie, Aaron, Julien and David in the United States, Bernadette and Charles in St. Maarten, Daniel, Elisha, Benjamin, Miranda and Chrisia in Dominica
Step Daughters: Debbie in the USA
Grandchildren: Jasmine, Danita, Anica, Philip, Israel, Gabriel, Joshua, Josian, Alyssa, Jeffrey, Alaina and Aleeyah in the United States, Ken, Kurvin and Kareem in St. Maarten and Merlik in Dominica
Son in Law: Carl Thomas in the USA
Daughters in Law: Kimberly and Lovett in the USA and Annica in Dominica
Close Nephew: Retired Deputy Chief of Police Hobbs John Baptiste
Close Cousin: Louinette John Charles
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including the John Baptiste family in Cochrane and the entire village of Laudat.
The funeral service for the late Bernard Joseph John Baptiste better known as JB will be from 10:00a.m to 12:00p.m. on Monday , 1st August 2022 at the Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, Hinesville, Georgia followed by interment at the Oglethorpe Memorial Cemetery.
