Death announcement of 88-year-old Alexandrina Camelie Shamalie Valmond from the Kalinago Territory

With deepest sadness, we announce the death of our beloved 88-year-old Alexandrina Camelie Shamalie Valmond from the Kalinago Territory,

who resided at Stockfarm. She died on 18th February.

She will be greatly missed by her children:

Frances Brooks in St. Maarten, Damian Kenrick Joseph in Maryland, Rosise Joseph in Dominica, and stepson Alexander Elizee in St. Croix.

Grandchildren:

Hermit Bannis in St. Croix, Hermina Joseph in St. Kitts, Craig Brooks in St. Kitts, Daniel Seraphin, Merici Auguiste, Hermaine Telemaque, Annelle Celaire, Danzel Seraphin, Joel Corriette, Lidya Joseph, Joshua Joseph, Arianne Joseph in Maryland, Daynah Joseph, Yannic Elizee, and Dominique Elizee in St. Croix.

Great-grandchildren:

Danae, Divine, Narissa Carmichael, Phoenix, Jayden, Lizzie, Mikhail, Halle, Hailey, Ace, Curdia, and Valli-Ann.

Great-great-grandchild:

Rael.

Brother:

Plyto Valmond.

Nieces:

Joan, Francisca, Virginia, Marrietta, Mary, Maurene, Marlene, Mauriscia, Claudette in England, Theresa in St. Croix, and Lucia in Guadeloupe.

Eric, Joel, Orma, Peter, Paul, Merril, Philbert, Mathias, Faustin, and Herman.

Sons-in-law:

Nigel Brooks and Constance Cuffy.

Sister-in-law:

Norma Valmond.

Daughter-in-law:

Shirley Angela Candicilia.

She will also be remembered by the communities of the Kalinago Territory, Newton, and Jasmine Lane, Stockfarm, along with many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The body of our beloved Shamalie Valmond will leave Lyndhurst Funeral Home on 7th March for viewing at 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Salybia Roman Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Salybia Catholic Cemetery.
