Death Announcement of 85 year old Muriel Virginia Lockhart better known as ‘Nenen’ of Castle Bruce

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of 85-year-old Muriel Virginia Lockhart affectionately known as “Nenen” of Castle Bruce.

She died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday the 27th September at 9am.

She is survived by her

Adopted sons: Francis Johnny Nation in St. Thomas and Clay Waldron in Dominica.

Siblings: Harry Berkitte in St Thomas, Harriet Berkitte, Anna Jno Finn a resident of the Dominica infirmary and Avan Fontaine.

20 Nieces including: Priscilla Bannis a teacher at the Castle Bruce Secondary School, Criscilla, Junella, Paula, Annie, Valley, Valda, Adelle, Avanelle, Shirley, Decilia, Urmah, Jenny, Anne, Annette, Rose, Elodia and Nathalie

12 Nephews including: Joey, Kendel, Garry, Curtis, Philsbert and Casimir

Numerous Grand Nieces and Nephews including: Saphie, Naomi, Asaph, Ucilla, Eunisha, Brent, Amariah

Her aunt: Zephrina Toussaint in Monserrat

Sisters in Law: Daphney and Queenrose in St Thomas

Caretakers: Mary-Ann Jno Finn, Jefferson Bazil, Kian Christmas and Judith Wiltshire and Virgin Challenger of the Yes We Care Program.

Other friends and Relatives including: Austelle Lockhart, Malcolm Abraham, Martina Graham in StThomas, Damas and Sawil Challenger, Staff of the Castle Bruce Health Team and the Lockhart and St Louis Family in Castle Bruce.

Many other relatives both here and abroad too numerous to mention.

The body of the late Muriel Lockhart will be viewed at 2:00pm on Saturday 3rd October at the Roman Catholic Church in Castle Bruce.

The funeral service takes place at 3:00pm and followed by interment at the Castle Bruce Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the North Eastern Funeral Association.
