With heavy hearts, the Christmas family announces the passing of our dearly beloved patriarch, Mr. Atchinson Christmas of Wesley, who passed away in the United States of America, on Sunday, 22nd November 2020. He was 83 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Georgiana Christmas, his wife Elizabeth Vannah Christmas and 14 siblings.
Many are left to mourn, including:
- Six children and their spouses: Cameron and Edline Christmas, Connie and Donville Yarde, Dix and Staci Christmas, Carey and Sanford Richardson, Brussel and Cynthia Christmas, Caren and Dion Shillingford.
- Nine grandchildren: Mickel, Mia, Dixon, Brittany and Tyrone Christmas, Timisha Romain, Amaris Shillingford, Saniqua and Casey Richardson.
- Five great grandchildren
- One brother: Rogers Christmas in the USA
- Special Sons: Ronald Christmas, Timothy Romain and Franklyn Robin
- Nieces and nephews including Hamlet, Casper, Gibson, Louise, Mavis, Christel, Joel, Zackie, Braund and others too numerous to mention.
- Eight sisters-in-law to include Hetty Christmas, Iris Greenaway and Annella Hypolite
- One brother-in-law
- Close friends: Emlord Timothy, Oliver James, Peter Carbon, Kent Brown, Verna Williams, Ivon Benjamin, Steward and Rudolph Africa, Benjie Phillip and Central Square; Kell and the guys at the gulf.
- Many other relatives, neighbors ques and loved ones including the entire Wesley, Woodford Hill and Marigot communities
The funeral service of the late Mr. Atchinson Christmas, will be held at the Wesley Methodist Church on Monday 28th December, commencing at 3:00pm. Interment follows in the church yard cemetery.
