We announce the death of 83 year old Elica Benjamin nee John of Loubiere. She died at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital on Tuesday 2nd May, 2023.
She leaves to mourn:
8 children
5 daughters: Gloria Benjamin-George in Dominica who was also her caretaker, Alicia, Juliana & Ann in Antigua, Netisha in Canada
3 Sons: Andrew in New York, Lyndon & Julian in Antigua
One Son in law- Raymond George in Dominica
2 daughters in law- Lyn Benjamin in Antigua and Debra Hazel in New York
3 Sisters; Mathilda John in Dominica, Andrea Franklyn in Canada, Theresa Hughes in England
3 brothers: Sylvester, Cecil and Anthony John, all in Canada
14 Grandchildren: including Kimberly Benjamin of Q95FM Radio
10 Great Grand Children- including Morgan Prosper in Dominica
Many Nieces and nephews too numerous to mention including Clem LeBlanc
Close friends: Janet Riviere, Susarina John, Julian Delsol, Rosemary and Johnny Lambert, Dr. Reginald LaFleur, Father Francis

The body of the late Elica Benjamin nee John of Loubiere will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing at 2:30pm on Friday, May 12th at the Pointe Michel Catholic Church. Funeral Service begins at 3:00pm followed by interment at the Pointe Michel Catholic Cemetery
