It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Martin better known as “Glory” of Delices. She died on the Saturday 21st May, 2022. Glory was a prominent member of the Christian Community both in the United States of America and Dominica. Thelma was the mother of the late Marylouise Carrette.
Left to Mourn:
1 Child: Jeffrey Tony Edwards who lives in NYC
4 Grandchildren: Alric Edwards in Sweden, Chelsi, Eliana and Dejanne in New York.
1 Great Granddaughter: Lilly Edwards, in Sweden
12 Sisters: Christina Crescent Darroux, Rosema Fevrier,Clara Oscar, Rosa James, Solange Langlais, Polly Roberts, Annette Wilkin
Mary Ford, Rosemary Martin, Helen Martin, Sarah Jno Baptiste, Ruth Augustine John
3 Brothers: Oliver Ulysses, Hypolite Amada Mathurine, Reynold Martin
Brothers in Law: Jasper, Rupert, Clayton, Robert, Glenford, Bruno
Nieces: Herma, Karen, Ingrid, Hanna, Danielle and Briana in New York, Josian in Guadeloupe and Hanna in Saint Thomas

Her special young friends: Sambo, Junior, Bernis, Indy and Tricia, Alisha
Many cousins and close friends including: Sybil, Yvonette, Marynesse, Maureen, Vena, Matilda, Rose, Titta, Ursula and Pastor Benjamin.
Thelma will be missed by her church family, especially Pastor Daniel in NY and the Goodwill Christian Union Missionary Community.
The funeral service for the late Thelma Martin will be held on Saturday May 28, 2022 at the Delices Pentecostal Church at 2:30 pm.
