Death Announcement of 78 year old Marianna Althea Cadette better known as Dada of La plaine who resided at Morne Jaune.

We announce the death of Marianna Althea Cadette better known as Dada age 78 of La plaine who resided at Morne Jaune.

She died on October 1, 2021 she was a member of the North Eastern Funeral Association.

She is survived by:

  • 7 children Jerome Cadette officer of the Dominica Prison Service, Rupert Cadette of the Royal Antigua Police Force, Jim in Morne Jaune, Rosanna, Verona, Mersula and Letricia Cadette -Trimble.
  • 23 Grand Children including Jervina in England, Talbert and Belinda in La Plaine, Shannon, Charles, Allison, Marley, Addie, Alex and Devon in Morne Jaune, Talisha, Kelisha and La-Kisha in Antigua, Kevin in St. Lucia, Amy a teacher of the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School,  Stharre and Jared. D’Sihre, Pleasjure, Madiba and Mwesi in America.
  • 21 Great-GrandChildren including Jahdell and Elliya in England, Jordan and Liam in St. Lucia, Miley and Dominiq, Jhaii, Kyle, Annabelle, Elson, Rickson, Trickson and Kenson in Salisbury and Amari
  • 2 Sisters Agatha Matthew  and Aldona Viligante
  • 3 Daughters in law Avanelle, Merina and Shirley Cadette.
  • 3 Sons in law Oliver Daniel, Matthew Trimble and Grantley Smith
  • 4 nieces including Ingrid Prosper, Eurlyn Jean and Cecelia
  • 7 nephews including Peter, Guiste, Bennett, Joe, Kurt, Evance and Emmanuel
  • God-Son Simon Prosper

Other Relatives and friends including Verney Rondey in La plaine, Ramona Sandy, Magdalene Williams and family, Cinthy, Norma and Frank Deniege Newton and family. The Cadette families in Morne Jaune including Joan in Antigua, Johnson in St. Thomas, Jennifer and Genieve. Other friends and associates including Cyrilla, The Prosper Family of La plaine Alice Jacobs and family, Daniel family of Canefield. The communities of La plaine, Morne Jaune and Riviere Cyrique.

The Funeral service of the late Althea Cadette will take place on October 21st, at the La Plaine Catholic Church from 2pm and followed by interment at the La Plaine Catholic Cemetery.
