It is with deepest sadness that we announce the death of our dear father Ellis Samuel age 76 of Riviere Cyrique, who died at the DCF Hospital on March 30th, 2023.
He left to mourn:
Hhis wife : Alice Fontaine Samuel.
His children: Movinia in Guadeloupe, Sabina Samuel – Headley in the USA, Grant, Johanis, Ellisa, Cedrick and Elbert in Dominica.
Seven grandchildren: Yasmin and Merina in Guadeloupe, Kenya in France, Grantley, Imayah, Jayannie, and Pertrice in Dominica.
One great grand child Edwyn.
Siblings: Augustas and Starlin in the USA, Francis in Dominica and John, Judith and Phillipa in Canada.
Nieces Audrey, Stella, Anne, Sofia, Jeanella, Darly, Alinda and Nathalie. Nephews Renea, Steve, Collins, Marcus and Curtis.
Daughter in law: Melissa Samuel.
Sisters-in-law: Bertha, Magdalene, and Janet Samuel, Magdalene Robin, Martha Bradshaw, Andrelina and Nidy Fontaine.
Brothers- in- law: Melchoir, Thomson, Ruskin and Earl Fontaine.
Many cousins including Jules, Elbert and Brother Samuel, Beran, Collins, Crescentia and Jenna Cuffy, Jaco and Agnes Pascal, Iline, Joseph, Eli and Tin. Friends Fernanda, Garnet, Henderson,Seal Jeff, Sherma, the Pascal, George Cuffy and Polydore family, the vendors of the Roseau Market and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The body of the late Ellis Samuel will be viewed at the Morne Jaune Chaple at 2.30 pm on Saturday April 22nd, 2023 followed by the service at 3pm.
