With profound sadness we announce the death of Fitzroy Lake better known as Sydney Paul age 75 of Morne Prosper. He died at the DCFH on Tuesday September 6th, 2022. He was a former employee of the Public Works Garage.
He is survived by his wife Maureen, 3 sons, Lawrence, Simon & Vernon and 1 daughter, Rebecca. He will also be remembered by his grandson Tyrus, 4 sisters: Geraldine & Jannita in Antigua and Gloria & Rosemary in Dominica, 4 brothers: Richard and Peter in Antigua Julien in England and Carlton in Florida.
19 nephews including: Mc Dowill, Kenneth, Nelson, Ezekiel, Rodman, Roy, Brian, Edison, Barry, Phill, Mc Donald and Micheal Lanns.
16 nieces including: Desiree, Kizzy, Elsa, Cassa, Carol, Joslie , Lynella, Cyndo and Sharon.
Sisters-in-law: Gloria, Gertrude, Melanie, Ernestine, Arlene, Sarah, Alicia, Rosilia, Clara, Emaline, Frances, Clarissa, Cheryl and Pamela and their families.
Brothers-in-law: Gordon, David, Robert Peter, Emmanuel, James, Patrick, Grayson and their families.
Other close relatives and friends including Tamisha, Geraldine Timothy, Cheryl, Merina and Medora. Domino friends: Keith, Weldone & Matthew and those on the port.
The catholic community including Fr. Eustace Thomas, Deacon Jeffers, Fr. Callistres and Fr. Nigel Karam and the entire community of Morne Prosper.
He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, 28th September, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Morne Prosper Catholic Church. Viewing will begin at 2:30pm.
