Death Announcement of 74 year old Theresa Ivonia Pond nee Seraphine better known as Ma Pond or Nenen of Good Hope who resided at Bath Estate

We announce the death of 74 year old  Theresa Ivonia Pond nee Seraphine better known as Ma Pond or Nenen of Goodhope who resided at Bath Estate.  She was a member of the North Eastern Funeral Association 

She was the wife of the Late Daniel Pond

She she was the mother of Julia and Lester Pond and

Adopted Children  Miguel and Dr. Anique Monelle St. Ville

Grandchildren – Jervan Guiste and Ciara Deka and Kai St. Ville

She will also be remembered by her sisters: Mary, Valda, Ramonia, Marcia and Maria,

Brothers: Edward Garraway, Andrew, Richard and  Xavier Seraphine

Caretaker – Patricia Pond

17 nieces including – Jacqueline, Sherma, Anthea, Kimmy, Kimila and Kisha

19 nephews including – Johhny, Kimo, Brian and Kelan

In laws:  Richard, Rudolph, Heskeith, Alice, Heattie and Phillo Pond.

Keith Harris, Curtis, Jack, Eulina, Janis Darroux   

8 Godchildren including – Hazel, Hendrick, Andrea, Linda and Gabriel

Grand nieces and nephews too numerous to mention

Special friends including – Dr. Magdalene John and family, Pastor Randy and family, Mariette and the Warrington family, the Monelle and St. Ville family, Cici, Candia, the Pond and Delsol Family of Fond Cole, Lorma, Ma Griffin, Catherina Gage, Agnes Lockhart,  Augustina Popo, Hezron Dorival, Ma Baron and Family, Georgian, Fiona, Bernice, Augustina, Maxine, Clara and former Garraway Hotel Staff.

The body of the late Theresa Ivona Seraphine Pond better known as “Ma Pond or Nenen” of Good Hope who resided in Bath Estate can be   viewed from 2 pm at the Truth and Grace Fellowship  church on Saturday December 16, 2023. The funeral service will take place at, 2:30 pm and will be followed by interment at the  Roseau Public Cemetery.
